It’s week 4 of our shop makeover and we’re making great progress all around the shop. We’re really chuffed to announce that our new Yorkshire Deli is now open from today!
What’s new on the Yorkshire Deli?
The Yorkshire Deli is an amazing hub of the finest local tastes. The counter has doubled in size, bringing you a wider variety of your usual favourites - from Ambler’s pies locally made in Thornton, to Just Desserts’ delicious cakes made in Shipley.
We’ve got a fantastic range of cheese rounds and self-serve olives in the counter – meaning you can buy as much or as little as you like.
A great new local producer has come on board – we’re happy to welcome The Yorkshire Baker from Malton, North Yorkshire, and their tasty range of hand-made specialty quiches and sausage rolls, baked fresh every day. And, if you fancy a treat, come and celebrate the opening of our Yorkshire Deli with a slice of delicious fudge cake from Just Desserts – for just 99p!
We want to encourage you to try new and interesting flavours – so if you’ve spotted something new in our Yorkshire Deli counter, please just ask a friendly member of the team if you’d like to try it.
Our Butchers is now up and running in its temporary location next to the Yorkshire Deli, whilst we renovate the current butchery area. Like the Deli, our new Butchers will have a 50% larger counter, bringing a much wider selection of local meats, sausages and poultry – including a fantastic new ‘Ready to cook’ range.
So, we hope you’re as excited as we are, and hope that the new Yorkshire Deli will give you a taste of what’s to come next with the opening of our extra special new Butchery in week commencing 6th August.
